My writing has been heavy lately. I have felt heavy, literally and figuratively. I am still not in the clear, but a shift is happening. I am able to observe with much more neutrality and levity. It is still uncomfortable AF, but the despair isn't holding me tight.

I am feeling fat, ugly and abandoned. It's not a fleeting feeling. It runs deep. As painful and dark as this feels…part of me knows it is necessary terrain I must sit in, face and feel. Ugh.

I've been feeling like a little kid a lot lately. Many things are overwhelming me.

I learned to suppress my feelings early. I come from the 'children are to be seen and not heard' and 'I'll give you something to cry about' generation.

First... I am cancer free, Yippee!!! The biopsy of the tumor in my right ovary came back Benign. What a relief! Thank you to all who were praying for me, thinking good thoughts, who reached out through texts, calls, emails and Facebook. The gift of loving care I experienced through this was incredible and I am forever grateful for you! I am thrilled to be preparing for an in person work/play shop this Saturday.

I've come to realize that it doesn't matter how we arrive, for we will each arrive one day. And upon our arrival, we will know true love and belonging. I am knowing this now. At least in this very moment.

How are you doing my friend? I've been experiencing waves of shock, fear and grief witnessing the gravity of what is unfolding here in the USA. It feels surreal and at times, unbearable. It has taken time to find my center. I am still wobbly, but I have a daily practice that is helping. So, what can we do?

The food industry is poisoning us. Reading the ingredients in many foods is disturbing. I was blind to this because I thought, 'it's just a pre-packaged salad, and salads are good for me, right?' Knowing I was not free in my habitual eating patterns really bugged me. I was finally ready to declutter my pantry, fridge, body and unhealthy habits...

I wasn't always loud, opinionated and bossy. I was actually quite shy and awkward as a child. The truth is, I don't know when I found my courage and my voice... but somewhere along the way, I decided that this lifetime would not be the life I would be silent in, especially when injustices were happening around me...

Many of us have been here before, playing a variety of different characters-the villain, the hero, the victim, the bystander. Perhaps we've played all the roles here in our attempts to learn and grow. But even in the WTF times, I'm ALL IN this time around. I have a passion for learning, growing and re-membering, and for helping!

So much chaos and uncertainty is happening in our world today, especially here in the USA. Regardless of which side of the battle-field you are on.... I'm holding the vision that Love wins for all of us.

You are not these things! In fact, this couldn't be farther from the Truth... Yet it's a common way we refer to ourselves when we don't understand something, are forgetful, or make a mistake.
